'Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali' fans express displeasure on change of time slot; spam Sandiip Sikcand with requests

We have seen time and again a show's popularity is determined by the amount of engagement that happens on social media time and again. And there cannot be a better example than Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali to determine the same. The show enjoys immense popularity and it seems a recent decision taken by the channel has led to an outburst amongst the fans.

This time, fans have tried to take matters into their own hands and called out the channel and makers of Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali for changing the telecast time. Actor-turned-producer Sandiip Sikcand is now quite in a dilemma. He had earlier changed the story on the basis of public demand and now the fans want the show airing time to go back to the original.

A remake of a super hit Telugu show, Gorintaku, Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali was shot and premiered during the peak of the lockdown and soon went on to become one of the popular shows on the channel. With a hundred fan clubs made for Raghav and Pallavi played by fresh faces Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar, fans are furious with a time change and the original schedule replaced by another show.

Fans have cried foul and pointed out how the channels change the timings of their hit shows to obtain a certain viewership for new shows that air on prime time. The fans of the show have called out the channel and producer Sandiip Sikcand for the change of time slot and that to stop fooling the audience.
