Megha Chakraborty to quit Imlie post the generation leap?

Star Plus' show Imlie has been under the scanner for weeks. The show's TRPs have dipped subsequently from the past few weeks and looks like only a generation leap appears to be a saving grace for the makers of the show. It was recently reported by a few media portals that the show is all set to take generation leap and the current cast of the show will be changed. 

Well, India Forums has an exclusive update on the show now. Our sources close to the show reveal that Megha Chakraborty, who essays the character of Imlie in the show is all set to call it quits. Our source informs us that the actress will not be a part of the show post the generation leap. Our source says, ''Megha is all set to quit the show post the recent leap as she does not want to play a mother onscreen.''

We tried getting in touch with Megha, but the actress denied this news before she abruptly disconnected our call. The actress said, ''No, this is just a rumour and I am not quitting.''
