Meet the 'Perfect Pati' Ayush Anand!

Actor Ayush Anand, who has been seen in shows such as Jodha Akbar, Balika Vadhu, Ishqbaaaz and Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji is now part of Perfect Pati on & TV in the title role. The actor says that he is glad to be part of the show. "The role, character and the show is perfect. I guess it was destiny that I got through the audition. I also feel my previous characters contributed in a major way," he says.

Talking about his character, he adds, "Unpredictable...that's the word which describes Pushkar."

The actor has been part of the industry for a while now and says that a lot has changed. "Everybody says that competition is increasing day by day as more and more people are getting into this industry with a dream to make it big. I would say that the avenues to showcase our talent have also increased. There are talent hunt shows, reality shows, TV shows, fiction shows, films, web series, short films, Amazon, Netflix. With this, the audience nowadays has many options and they are not loyal like they were earlier. They are not forgiving these days. One bad performance, work, assignment and they are ready to switch to something else. So, the actors are always on their toes and give their best shot as they know that the audience would not accept anything less than that," he says.

Ask him the character he enjoys playing the most, and he says, "Playing a grey character because it has the best of both worlds and is more real."
