Many felt that I am displaying feminine qualities: Nawazuddin Siddiqui on Laila from Heropanti 2

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the king of versatility, is now preparing for the premiere of his new film Heropanti 2, which is due to hit theatres on April 29, 2022. More than anything, fans are looking forward to seeing Nawaz play a distinct character, who will be unlike any other character he has done before. Laila, Nawaz's character, has garnered a lot of name for himself.

The actor portrays a merciless don with a feminine side, and his character is incredibly unexpected and eccentric. The Kick actor stated when asked about the toughest problem he had when developing the stride of the character, which had to convey the might of a don while maintaining feminine grace.

"I combined the [traits of] the role in my actual life. In my motions, Laila's stroll and the feminine touch [in his manners] were clearly obvious."

The actor, who is known for immersing himself in his role before arriving on set, followed a similar routine for Ahmed Khan's directorial debut.

Siddiqui responds, 

"I'm going to add some more. Many people commented on how my body language had changed and that my gait was different than normal. Many people assumed I was demonstrating feminine characteristics. That was how absorbed I was in Laila's character. After the shoot was finished, I [dropped] the mannerisms."

Heropanti 2 sees Tiger Shroff's Babloo lock horns with Siddiqui's Laila in a bid to stop cyber crimes across the world. Written by Rajat Arora and directed by Ahmed Khan, the movie is all set to take us on an expedition. The music track of the film is given by A R Rahman.
