Manoj Bajpayee speaks out on Bollywood's rising divorce rates

Manoj Bajpayee, a celebrated actor who has risen from supporting roles to winning National Awards, has witnessed the ebbs and flows of Bollywood over his long and illustrious career. Recently, he opened up about the darker aspects of the industry in an interview, offering his candid insights.

In a conversation with Sushant Sinha, Manoj Bajpayee, renowned for his performances in "The Family Man" and "Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai," shared his views on the controversial and often hidden sides of Bollywood. When asked about the rumors of extravagant parties, high divorce rates, and other negative aspects, he provided a balanced perspective.

 Manoj remarked, "The Hindi film industry is quite small, and it’s made up of various people who need jobs, if someone is caught doing something wrong, it doesn't reflect on the entire industry. I and many of my friends and co-stars are part of the same industry, and I can confidently say that 95% of them are incredibly passionate and sincere, not just about their work but also towards their families, friends, and loved ones. A few incidents don’t define the whole industry."

Addressing the increase in divorces among Bollywood celebrities, he compared it to societal trends at large. "If you visit Tees Hazari Court and look into the divorce rates, you'll understand that this is not just an industry-specific issue. Our society has embraced the nuclear family trend, which has its advantages, but the downside is visible in the increasing number of broken relationships and marriages."

On the professional front, Manoj Bajpayee is gearing up for several exciting projects. He will next be seen in "Bhaiyya Ji," followed by "Despatch" and "The Fable," promising a diverse range of roles that continue to showcase his exceptional talent.
