With films like Satya, Gangs of Wasseypur, Aligarh, Bhonsle, and many more under his belt, Manoj Bajpayee is considered one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood. Hailing from Bihar, Bajpayee has overcome significant challenges in his career. According to a recent report, the actor has purportedly sold his Mumbai apartment for a substantial sum of Rs. 9 crore.

As per the Bollywood Hungama report, Manoj Bajpayee offloaded his lavish pad in the posh Mahalaxmi area for a cool Rs 9 crore, a decade post its acquisition. The report hints that the property was initially snagged with a hefty stamp duty of Rs 54 lakh. The deal was sealed through an Agreement to Sell and officially registered this August.

Bajpayee's swanky abode was nestled in Minerva, a plush residential tower crafted by Lokhandwala Kataria Constructions. The Satya star snagged the now-sold apartment jointly with his wife, Shabana Bajpayee, back in April 2013. The duo acquired it for Rs 6.4 crore, shelling out a stamp duty of Rs 32 lakh. Additionally, they forked out a registration fee of Rs 30,000 at that time, as per data scrutinized by Square Yards, the report highlighted.

Spanning across two acres and accommodating 362 units, the apartment boasts contemporary amenities. With a carpet area of 1,247 square feet or 116 square meters, it also includes two car parking spaces covering an additional 240 square feet area.

According to the report, in 2023, Bajpayee splurged a staggering Rs. 32 crore on four office units in Oshiwara, Mumbai.

In a 2019 chat with Rediff, Manoj Bajpayee reminisced about his tough times before making it big in showbiz. He endured a prolonged phase of struggle, anxiety, disappointment, and disillusionment. Bajpayee candidly disclosed how assistant directors would casually toss his photos into the dustbin right in front of him. The Gangs of Wasseypur star shared that it became a regular occurrence to witness his pictures being discarded right before his eyes.

Bajpayee is all set to make a comeback as Srikant Tiwari in The Family Man- Season 3.
