In this episode, Rana and Vaiju wait outside an electronics store for Rana’s phone to charge. While Rana thanks the shopkeeper, Vaiju, feeling overwhelmed by Mumbai’s size, anxiously wonders about finding Rohan in such a massive city. Their connected dupatta symbolizes their shared journey. Rana reassures Vaiju that locating Rohan will be easier once the phone is charged. 

Vaiju’s attention, however, shifts to a nearby vada pav stall. Although tempted by the delicious smell, she remains silent. Rana, noticing her longing, surprises her with a vada pav. Vaiju, embarrassed, initially refuses but eventually accepts, offering Rana half when she realizes the stall has run out. Despite Rana’s uneasy thoughts about Jaya, he accepts the offer, and they share the vada pav, strengthening their bond.

Nearby, two young men notice the dupatta tying the couple together and make teasing comments about their wedding bond. Rana, annoyed, tells them off. As the men leave, a boy swiftly grabs Rana’s phone and Vaiju’s bag, which contains her phone and wallet. Shocked, Rana and Vaiju chase after him, but their shared dupatta causes them to stumble, adding a humorous twist to their frantic pursuit. They run through the crowded streets and a Ganpati procession, but the thief vanishes into the crowd. Defeated, they realize they’ve lost everything and feel utterly helpless.

Vaiju suddenly recalls something and leads Rana behind a car, where she retrieves a small pouch from her clothes. She proudly shows him her “emergency safety” stash—some folded notes. Rana’s initial hope fades when he sees it’s just a few twenty-rupee bills and a scrap of paper. Frustrated, he remarks that it won’t even cover a meal for two. Feeling defeated, Rana steps away, and Vaiju, noticing the Ganpati festival’s vibrant celebration and the Thakkers and Bhonsales dancing, finds a glimmer of hope in the festive atmosphere.
