Star Plus show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The current track of the show revolves around Sai having a doubt on Virat as he is been lying to her. Virat is secretly helping and taking care of a pregnant Shruti. He has also decided to give the child his own name.
Shafaq Naaz entered the show as Shruti and her character, unknowingly has created a rift between Virat and Sai. India Forums got in touch with Shafaq and asked her about what prompted her to take up the show, she quipped, “Well, I liked the character Shruti. It’s quite different from what I’ve played so far and the character had significance in the story line. I’d worked with the producers before on one of my initial projects. I know the crew very well too. So, I knew I will have a good time doing the project and hence I took it up”.
When asked about her working experience with actor Neil Bhatt, Shafaq said, “I have most of my scenes with Neil aka Virat. He is quite a dedicated and hardworking actor. He also puts in his creative inputs and thoughts in the scenes. It’s great to work with a sincere actor like him. I haven’t shot much with the rest of the cast. The other day, I shot a promo wherein I met Ayesha who plays Sai. She’s a nice actress”.
Talking about viewers feedback, Shafaq said, “Considering Virat-Sai’s massive fan-following, I thought that I would get a lot of hatred, however, to my surprise, I haven’t been getting the same. I believe the fans are sensible enough to understand Shruti and thus they sympathies and comprehend her much better. Although there are a couple of hate comments which I chose to ignore”.

Darling Shruthi,if you think noone hates you then you're highly mistaken. You call Virat in the wee hours of the night as if he's your husband, you never miss an opportunity in making him feel guilty of killing your husband as if he was a patriot and still feel noone will hate you? I'm waiting for this track to end. I hope she dies so that there's no way for her re - entry.

From whatever clips I have seen here and there, I think the actress has been doing a remarkable job and complete justice at portraying her character. I liked her from her other show #SAAKK

She's doing good job as Shruti, can't blame the actor for poor writing of a character.

Shafaq. If you think Shriti is not hated much you are wrong. People just don’t want to criticise because you are Kunti Of Mahabharat but I can’t do so. Actually I am waiting for your track to come to an end. Every Sairat fan does.

Shriti has the audacity to snub real Mrs Chavan that is Sai on phone. She made Sai suspicious with her answers. Shriti thinks Virat is obligated to help her at the cost of his married life. She is mean. What if she has to deliver in forest? With all the facilities she has,she still causes inconvenience to Virat and thereby hurts Sai.

I like Shafaq but I dislike Shriti. She is manipulative and cunning. She guilt trips Virat about Sada’s death. She poses as if Virat killed a patriot and she is enduring the effect. She has no hesitation to accept the tag of Mrs Chavan. I feel she already forgot Sada and falling for Viru. She claims to have self respect and self sustaining nature but calls him at odd hours whereas she should call the nurse to attend on her. She allows him to take her hand which is disgusting.
