Star Plus’s show "Maati Se Bandhi Dor" garnered a lot of praise for its distinctive storyline when it first aired. The plot centered around a girl named Vaijanati, also known as Vaiju, who has a deep affection for her village. She ends up marrying a man who is in love with her younger sister, Jaya. Due to a situation involving Jaya, Rana and Vaiju find themselves trapped in the village, leading the villagers to arrange their marriage. Despite this, the couple decides to keep their marriage a secret. Though they are hiding, they are accepting their relation.

Soon the storyline became a story of complex relationships and secrets. The plot involves a character named Rana who is married to both Vaiju and Jaya, creating a situation where he is maintaining relationships with two wives. The audience seems to be intrigued by the twists and turns in the story as the makers attempt to reveal the secret of Rana's multiple marriages but they never do.

Even after being married to Vaiju, Rana got married to Jaya. Star Plus's show "Maati Se Bandhi Dor" has been keeping viewers on the edge of their seats with the continuous suspense around Rana and Vaiju's hidden marriage. From the Teej episode where Vaiju wore sindoor, to the bike ride where family members almost caught them, the secret managed to stay under wraps. However, in a recent turn of events during the Kanha ji aarti, Rana's kurta catching fire led to a revealing moment. Vaiju's quick action to extinguish the fire, followed by Jaya's hug and Rana's gesture of holding Vaiju's hand, hinted at Rana's desire to maintain relationships with both women.

The latest promo for the upcoming episode has generated significant buzz. It teases a dramatic scene where Rana mistakes Vaiju for Jaya while she lies covered with a topsheet. His heartfelt confession about finding solace in the embrace, thinking it was Jaya, builds anticipation. However, as Jaya's voice interrupts the moment, Rana's realization about Vaiju's presence adds a new layer of complexity to the storyline.

The moral dilemma presented in the show raises questions about whether it is right for Rana to have two wives and how the makers are portraying this situation. The audience's engagement with the show reflects their interest in relatable storylines that evoke emotions and discussions.

I think they need to side the second lead of the show. I say this because lots of people are now saying the main lead is the 3rd wheel in the love story of both the second female lead and main male lead. They need to focus more on their lead characters Rana and Vaiju. Most people don’t like the way Vaiju is behaving with her sister husband. But people don’t realize is that Vaiju is the first wife. I for one want Vaiju and Rana to be together!

Only an issue because the degenerate modern society makes it so. Throughout history, men have had multiple wives and have been able to maintain them very well. Even in India men were allowed to have more than one wife until 1956. Nothing wrong with having more than one wife as long as they are properly taken care of and their rights are not violated. The modern society is a hypocritical society that sees nothing wrong with homosexuality and adultery but makes a big deal when a man has more than one wife.
