The obsession of bullets continue while we experience a clash like never before..

*Disclaimer: The following content is a light reflection that leaves out any scope for critique. We are strictly talking puzzling moments that may come as a shock to the viewers.

We come up with some of the preposterous sequences every week, and this week raised the bar when it comes to defying basic logic and a lot of pondering as to what exactly were the writers thinking (read smoking) while penning these sequences?

The Clash of Clans in 'Zindagi Ki Mehek'

We mentioned about how 'eternal' Shaurya (Karan Vohra) and Mehek's (Samiksha Jaiswal) love saga is. However, the feeling doesn't seem to be mutual amidst other family peeps. Boy, did we see some action this week between the recently introduced Naani and the same-old evil lady, Svetlana!

Off-Script: Seemingly, it's a given that if your name is Svetlana on Indian TV, you are bound to be a manipulative and vindictive woman. So, Bollywood, here is something you can learn from Indian TV. Move over Romantic Rahuls and Pally Prems, adapt to the idea of having a constant villain like Sadistic Sveltana.

Coming back, Miss Svetlana was enjoying a session of self-pampering, having a glass of champagne (apparently), when evil Naani comes and throws a bucket of water on the lady which of course, leaves her dumbfounded. Followed by some catty abuses, she literally pushes Sveltana on the bed and begins even cattier insults.

Then comes the moment, when an artificial nail has to be the victim of their fight as Naani tells that she will break her fingers but ends up only removing the artificial nail out of the finger after some jostling. (R.I.P artificial nail extensions; you served the realm well.)

Endured too much already, Svetlana then catches hold of the old lady and after some cunning words, pushes her away with a good amount of velocity. I don't know about you guys, but this sequence makes me reminisce the unanticipated catfights that happen on the streets and trains in India where probably morals take a backseat. Meow Meow!

The Bullet is Back in 'Ishqbaaaz'

I think I recently missed a call from a source giving me the confirmation that one of the writers of 'Ishqbaaaz' and 'Dil Boley Oberoi' actually is a chemical genius and his favourite chemical indeed is Potassium Nitrate. Well, I may not be present to write anything, next week. Till then, enjoy this one.

Potassium Nitrate, primarily used to make gunpowder for bullets seem to be the most loved thing for 'Ishqbaaaz' and 'Dil Boley Oberoi' guys. After the iconic shot where Anika (Surbhi Chandna) was hit, we are back with another one.

Anika and Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) are stranded in a place, trying to escape from two thieves, who posed as forest rangers and sat with them in the car. However, after some talk here and there, one of the goons points a gun at couple. The next thing we know, PFoom!

The guy fires a bullet and let me iterate it correctly; Shivaay and Anika are just probably 10 feet away from the man. However, God bless the reflexes the couple has that they literally bend down at the exact moment when the bullet passes by them. Timing, precision and reflexes, Master Rajnikanth must be proud.

However, that's not it. Apart from some Rajnikanth moves dodging a bullet, the couple also indulges into a fight sequence with the goons. Yes! The couple and not Shivaay alone. Infact Anika does maximum of the job. While, the duo is having their quintessential argument and blame-game, they are also coming up with innovative fight moves. Just when the goon comes to Shivaay, he ricochets Anika to slap the goon and then a double kick by picking her up.

Because, clearly, he did not want his bright and white clothes to get dirty. Once again, watching Anika's fighting moves, Sir Rajnikanth must be proud.

A Bullet, a 100 feet Fall (Still Alive) in 'Dil Bole Oberoi'

Before I even begin here, I already pity Rahul Dev for being a part of such 'action' scenes in 'Dil Bole Oberoi.' But, then again, he was a part of 'Awara Pagal Deewana', so yeah! Scores Levelled.

After some absolutely laughable exchange of fists and dishooms with Omkara, Kaali Thakur (Rahul Dev) takes Chulbul aka Gauri (Shrenu Parikh) to be a hostage and warns Omkara (Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh) to not move forward.

While, Janvi and Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo) enjoy the sequence, Kaali inches closer to the edge of the hilly region. And guess who is an opportunist? None other than Svetlana herself. Of course, she is there, hiding behind a tree. (Probably thinking, "Dude, what can be a better moment than this to kill Kaali and Chulbul together!") So, she points a gun and 'PFoom.' The bullet hits Kaali and in the most Bollywood style and super slow-motion, Kaali and Chulbul are taking a fall while Omkara and Chulbul catch hands only to leave them slowly. Some mind-boggling falling visuals and and 'Jaane Nahi Denge' song later, we find out that they have a bad fall but are still ALIVE!

Wondering why haven't I put my thoughts in the above paragraph yet? Usually, there is one moment of stupidity to talk about, but we have plethora here. First, Omkara literally lets Kaali inch closer to the fall with Chulbul. Dude, he did not have a weapon to threaten you! The way Omkara leaned to catch Chulbul's hand; he could have done that initially itself. But of course, how else could we have been treated with 'Jaane Nahi Denge' from 3 idiots and the I-will-not-leave-you' moment. Also, why? Just why would you voluntarily inch closer to have a 100 feet fall and position yourself for the same. Unknown.

And guess what! Post that monstrous looking fall, they escape out unharmed and run away in a car. While Shivaay and Anika have a thing to thank Rajnikanth for, it seems Rajnikanth has to follow Kaali for this invincibility. Salute!
