In a whirlwind of comedic chaos and adventure, the trailer for 'Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan' has taken the Indian entertainment scene by storm. The Parekh family, known for their quirky escapades, is back in action, promising a rollercoaster ride of laughter and intrigue. The much-anticipated sequel mounts the Parekh family's escapades on a grand scale, offering a delightful blend of romance, action, and humor that's bound to leave audiences in splits. As the trailer unfolds, we witness the Parekh family in an array of breathtaking locations, from romancing in the Swiss Alps to engaging in high-octane chopper rides and confrontations with menacing goons.

At the heart of the narrative is Praful, portrayed by the talented Rajeev Mehta, who dons the role of an emperor in a grand cinematic venture. With a beard, moustache, and regal attire, he embarks on a mission to save the world, setting the stage for hilarious mishaps and unforgettable moments. 'Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan' boasts an ensemble cast, with familiar faces reprising their iconic roles. Kirti Kulhari makes a 'special appearance,' returning as Parminder from the first installment, Khichdi: The Movie (2010), adding a touch of nostalgia to the sequel.

Renowned filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan also joins the fun, portraying a don and adding her unique charm to the film's comic mayhem. In the teaser released earlier, she playfully questions the Parekh family about the challenges of their mission, to which their response is predictably oblivious and amusing.

The charismatic Pratik Gandhi, known for his remarkable performances, joins the Gujarati clan as the pilot of the chopper transporting the Parekh family.

'Khichdi' first made its mark as a television series in 2002 on Star Plus, and its second season, titled 'Instant Khichdi', followed in 2004 on Star One. The franchise subsequently transitioned to the big screen with 'Khichdi: The Movie' in 2010, which was well-received by fans of the show. The ensemble cast includes Supriya Pathak Kapoor as Hansa, Vandana Pathak as Jayshree, Anang Desai as Babuji, Rajeev Mehta as Praful, and Jamnadas Majethia as Himanshu, all of whom return to reprise their beloved characters. Produced by Hats Off Productions and Zee Studios, 'Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan' is all set to hit the silver screen on November 17
