Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: Shilpa Shinde comes out in support of Asim Riaz says,"Sab log galat the…"

Following Asim Riaz's exit from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, actor Shilpa Shinde has stepped up to back the former contestant. Speaking to Times Now, she alleged that the model-rapper was "bullied" and "provoked" during the filming of the adventure reality show in Romania.

She stood by Asim, stating that he wasn't completely at fault in the incident that led to his elimination.

“Kuch bhi nahin hua tha. Aap ke sar paani chala jata hai. Down-to-earth hona chahiya. Ek banda ek taraf aur baki ek jhoondh hai, usko bhadkaya gaya as they knew his nature. Sablog success handle nahin kar pate. Sab log galat the, sab log sahi the. Maine use baar baar bola ki woh chup rahe, bahas na kare (People should be humble. Asim was alone on one side and others ganged up against him, provoked him. I kept urging him not to speak or argue with Rohit Shetty. They knew his nature and yet bullied him and instigated him. Everyone cannot handle success),” she told Times Now.

Shilpa mentioned in the interview that Asim shouldn't have behaved like Bigg Boss on the new show. She clarified that he was chatty rather than aggressive.

“He wanted to share his experience and the pain he has gone through. Usko zyada bolne ki aadat hai. Usko chup karana padta hai. Uske bolne ka andaaz galat ho sakata hai (He was not an aggressive person. He is extremely talkative and doesn’t know where to stop which backfired),” she added.

In the end, Shilpa thinks the matter shouldn't have been dragged out, and there was no reason for him to get worked up after losing a task.

For the unversed, Asim got kicked out of the reality show after a spat with host Rohit Shetty and some other contestants on Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14.

The problem started during a task involving Asim, Aashish Mehrotra, and Niyati Fatnan. While Asim couldn't complete the task, the other two managed to do so successfully. This led Asim to lose his temper, claiming the challenge was impossible. He challenged the Khatron Ke Khiladi team to perform it in front of him, declaring he wouldn't accept any money from the show. In response, Rohit presented him with a rehearsal video showing the team accomplishing the task and explained that all stunts are tested by the team before contestants attempt them to ensure safety.

After that, Rohit called him out for being rude and labeling his fellow contestants as 'losers'.“Kal bhi tune bahot bakwaas ki. Sun meri baat sunle warna mei utha ke yahi patak dunga. Aise mere se badtameezi nahi karna (Yesterday also you said a lot of nonsense. Listen to me, otherwise I will thrash you here. Don’t behave badly here),” Rohit said, post which Asim was asked to leave the show.

The fourteenth season of the adventure reality show began streaming on JioCinema and airing on Colors TV starting from July 27th.
