Kasautii Zindagii Kay NOW & THEN: How The Show & Its Characters Have Changed Over The Course of Seasons!

Ekta Kapoor's reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay has been in the buzz ever since the news of its coming back broke out. Actors like Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes, Hina Khan, Pooja Banerjee, Sahil Anand, Shubhaavi Choksey amongst others were roped in and within no time the show already become a household name. It has managed to stay in the TRP race with good ratings and  its makers have been constantly taking efforts to make the show interesting since then. The reboot has garnered a constant comparison with original. There are few key and minor differences between the two seasons and with that, we present our findings.

Here's what we found:

Komolika Has Upgraded Her 'Swag'

Komolika used to always sport an eye catchy bindi, now she doesn't wear one. Her dressing sense has got a big time contemporary twist and her style level is more elevated now. And, so is the famous *nikaa*

Prerna, Too, Has Evolved Her Dressing Sense (Catching up with Komo, eh?)

Prerna was super energetic back then, but the current one treads cautiously. While the old Prerna wore less colourful but stylish clothes, the new is more fashion savvy.

Anurag Is Less Reserved Now:

Anurag was and is an ideal son, friend and husband; but overall he has changed when it comes to opinions. He has turned more explicit in showing his love for Prerna.

Mohini Basu is a Glamazon Now!

While the old Mohini dressed simple, the newer one is anything but simple. Her jewellery, sarees and bindi deserve another article, infact.

Nivedita Has Turned Sassier!

Nivedita Basu, of now, is a fitness freak who begins her day with a workout. She's sassier and snaps more frequently at her 'good-for-nothing' hubby.

The Track Has Gone Pacier:

From the entry of Naveen Babu to Moloy's coma, there has been a huge change in the story line. Even the introduction of Komolika's siblings was a major change from the original track.

With all these changes the show has managed keep the audiences glued. Few days back, Ekta Kapoor had posted a video few hinting her search for Mr. Bajaj which we feel will have different personality traits from the original Mr Bajaj.
