While Sidharth will be seen essaying the role of Rajesh Khanna, Sonakshi will be stepping in the shoes of Nanda and Akshaye Khanna who plays the cop will be seen in the place of Madan Puri. Recently, after releasing the posters of the makers of the film kept a small interaction with the selective media to unveil the trailer. Today Karan posted on Twitter, "No interviews at all...no interaction with the media...no television appearances..just digital and print build up..safeguarding the intrigue" (Sic). Apparently, the makers are said to have worried about the plot of the film that the promotions and media interactions might reveal the important facts of the film.
Interestingly, his previous films like Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Ok Jaanu to name a few...Karan was seen keen in promoting the films on social media, reality shows, and media events. Some of his industry friends like Raj Bansal, Akshaye Rathi has also supported the filmmaker in his decision.
Directed by Abhay Chopra produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and B.R. Studios the film is set to release on November 3.
