Kanwar Dhillon, who portrays Sachin Deshmukh in Rahul Tewary & Rolling Tales Production’s Udne Ki Aasha on Star Plus, emphasizes the importance of his working environment and the overall vibe. He believes that the collective energy on set is crucial to sustaining productivity.

I'm known for that on every unit I've worked with. Having fun on set is natural for me. I'm a chatterbox who loves cracking jokes and enjoying the moment

“A good atmosphere on set is definitely on my checklist when I'm working on a show. Shooting with such a large team for 12 to 14 hours daily requires consistent energy throughout the day. While not every day is perfect, it's the collective energy that keeps us going. I'm truly grateful that the entire team of Udne Ki Aasha is positive, supportive, and cohesive—touch wood. I haven't experienced a more positive team where everyone is dedicated to one goal: creating a successful show. The motivation across the board, from production to producers, creators, actors, and the entire crew, including the camera department, is exceptional. Everyone is giving their best, which, in my opinion, is key to producing a great show.”

There are many actors who have started with negative roles and transitioned into lead roles, sustaining them for years. Similarly, actors who began with lead roles continue to do so even in their forties or fifties

When asked about playing pranks on set, Kanwar laughs, “I'm known for that on every unit I've worked with. Having fun on set is natural for me. I'm a chatterbox who loves cracking jokes and enjoying the moment. You'll always find me chatting with the creatives or the director between takes, keeping the energy high. I don't believe in being too serious at work—it doesn't work for me.”

Regarding the perception that TV tends to typecast actors, Kanwar disagrees, stating, “There are many actors who have started with negative roles and transitioned into lead roles, sustaining them for years. Similarly, actors who began with lead roles continue to do so even in their forties or fifties. Then there are actors like Anil Kapoor sir, who adapt their roles as they age, taking on character-driven roles that suit them. It varies for each actor, depending on how they maintain themselves and plan their careers.”
