In her most recent post on X, Kangana delved into the history of the name and its evolution over the years. She questioned the origins of the name 'India' and its significance, particularly how it was linked to the term 'Indians' in the context of colonial history. Kangana argued that the name 'Bharat' has a deeper meaning and historical relevance, pointing out that during the time of the Mahabharata, all the kingdoms that participated in the Great War of Kurukshetra were referred to as one continent, 'Bharat.'

Kangana emphasized that the name 'Bharat' holds a profound significance and questioned the historical implications of the term 'India.' She noted that the term 'Indian' once meant 'slave' in olden English and was assigned to the native population during the colonial era.

The discussion surrounding the renaming of India as 'Bharat' gained traction when a dinner invitation for G20 delegates from Rashtrapati Bhavan referred to the country as 'Bharat' rather than 'India.'

On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for her upcoming film, 'Chandramukhi 2'. Additionally, Kangana has projects like 'Emergency' and 'Tejas' in her pipeline.
