Kajol's mother & veteran actress Tanuja gets hospitalized

Veteran actress Tanuja, who is also the mother of actress Kajol, was recently hospitalized. The report suggested that the 80-year-old was admitted to the ICU due to some age-related health complications. The same piece also quoted a source telling PTI that she is under observation and is doing well. Hence, there isn't much to worry about.

That certainly comes across as a relief for all the fans of the actress. When it comes to the veteran, she has carved quite a career throughout the years, where she was a sensation back in the day. After debuting with the film Hamari Yaad Ayegi in 1961, Tanuja became a part of several acclaimed projects like Chand Aur Suraj, Jeene Ki Raah and others. However, her most popular roles came in the form of blockbuster films like Jewel Thief and HaathI Mere Saathi.

As one also knows, Tanuja celebrated her birthday earlier this year, and on the special occasion, both her actor daughters, Kajol and Tanisha Mukerji penned adorable notes for her. Where Kajol's note read, “The birthday girl thanks everyone with a tiara on her head for all the love and wishes and with sheer gratitude says “ THANK YOU”

Tanisha's note read, “Happy birthday my Maaaaa! My warrior my devi! The one who showed me that age is just a number and that life is for living on ur own terms ! Here are just a few images that show the many colours that make u You! Generous loving and always ready to take care of everyone!!! Love uuu my earth mother!” along with an adorable video.
