Kajal Aggarwal roped in for 'Sikandar' along with Salman Khan & Rashmika Mandanna - REPORT

The much-anticipated film Sikandar, starring Salman Khan, has just added another exciting name to its cast. According to recent reports, actress Kajal Aggarwal has come on board for this Sajid Nadiadwala production. She will be joining Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar in the upcoming action-packed drama. While Kajal’s role is being kept under wraps, her addition has created quite a buzz among fans. Kajal is no stranger to Bollywood, having appeared in hit films like Singham and Special 26.

The makers of Sikandar had previously announced that South Indian actor Sathyaraj and Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar would also be a part of the film. In July, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment warmly welcomed them to the team through their official social media. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, is shaping up to be one of the most awaited releases, with an ensemble cast that promises a thrilling cinematic experience.

Filming for Sikandar began in August 2024, with Salman Khan starting a 45-day schedule in Mumbai. The production team has gone to great lengths to recreate local parts of Mumbai on a massive set, which took three months to build. The shooting schedule includes not only high-octane action sequences but also some emotional and dramatic moments, crucial to the film’s storyline.

Despite suffering a rib injury during the shoot, Salman Khan has continued filming, taking necessary precautions. His dedication to the project is evident as he pushes through the injury to deliver his best performance. In the film, Salman Khan plays the titular character, Sikandar, a hero who exudes arrogance and anger, traits befitting his royal lineage. The film explores his journey, highlighting his complex personality shaped by his family’s history and power.

Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar is set to hit theaters on Eid 2025. With a star-studded cast and an intriguing storyline, this film is expected to be a blockbuster, adding another feather to Salman Khan’s cap.
