Jr NTR and Ram Charan bag the ‘Best Actor nomination at the Critics Choice Super Awards

Putting India on the global map one step higher each time, Global stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan bag the ‘Best Actor nomination in an Action Movie' category at the Critics Choice Super Awards. The Pan-Indian stars who soared to global dominance with their performance in SS Rajamouli's RRR are absolutely deserving in every way. 

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) unveiled the nominees for the 3rd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards last night. Winners for the same will be released on Thursday, March 16.

'RRR,' as a magnum opus, has previously won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song (for 'Naatu Naatu,' in which NTR Jr danced his heart out), among a slew of other international accolades. The winning streak continues as RRR is also nominated for 'Best Action Movie' at the 3rd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards.

With Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Nicholas Cage, the lead actors of RRR, Ram Charan, and Jr. NTR, are vying for the Best Actor award. The Bullet Train, Top Gun: Maverick, The Woman King, and The Unbearable Weight of Enormous Talent are all nominated, in addition to RRR.

For the song Naatu Naatu, RRR received nominations for the Oscars in 2023 as well. The entire RRR team will be in America for the same. Ram Charan is in New York, and music director MM Keeravaani and lyricist Chandra Bose are at the award venue. With their families, Jr. NTR and SS Rajamouli will fly there soon. The Oscars will take place on March 12, 2023.
