Jhanak: Kajal's continuous taunts confuse Appu, yet she successfully persuades Kajal to stay

Tonight's Jhanak episode kicks off with Appu’s family warmly greeting both Appu and Lalon. Kajal requests Anuradha to let her rest, citing her need to attend school the following day. However, Lalon and Anuradha are against this and propose celebrating for the next 2 to 3 days. Kajal is clearly displeased, saying she will come during the Bahu Bhat ceremony, but Anuradha insists on her presence. Appu intends to go to bed, but her mother-in-law insists she perform the girahpravesh ritual first, after which she can rest. Appu agrees and completes the ritual, bringing joy to everyone, although Kajal remains irritated.

Lalon’s cousin demands money from him, playfully threatening not to let him into the house without it. Lalon expresses his frustration to his mother. Both his mother and Appu persuade him to give the money to his cousins. Kajal tries to leave once more but is stopped. A neighbor mentions that she heard Appu might be unwell but dismisses the idea, feeling Appu seems perfectly fine. Lalon thanks the neighbor for her comment and praises Appu's character, which angers Kajal further. She criticizes Lalon for his perceived lack of understanding regarding Appu.

Jhanak arrives at Lalon's place:

Lalon’s mother urges Appu to complete the ritual before resting, and Appu consents. Kajal repeatedly demands to leave, but Lalan and his mother continue to convince her to stay. Lalon warns Appu that living in his modest house might be challenging, but Appu reassures him that she considers it her home too and won’t have any issues, which pleases everyone. Kajal attempts to disrupt the post-wedding ritual, but Appu manages to calm her down and persuade her to stay until the ritual concludes.

The following day, Jhanak arrives at Lalon’s house with Chhoton and announces her plans to go to Mumbai for work. She advises Lalon to investigate the people who tricked him and prevented him from discovering the truth. Though Lalon expresses his intention to focus on his personal life, his mother insists he heed Jhanak’s advice, and Lalon agrees. Lalon and his mother inform Jhanak and Chhoton that Appu has become friends with Kajal and is now preparing with her, which surprises and pleases Jhanak and Chhoton. They are further delighted to hear that Lalon’s mother does not expect Appu to change, as she regards Appu as her own daughter.

Jhanak's perfomance:

Appu joins them and expresses her frustration about not seeing her mother’s face, but Chhoton tells her to wait for her parents' arrival. Jhimli goes to fetch Meghla and her sister as instructed by her mother. When Meghla and her sister arrive, they discuss Jhanak’s recent appearance on a reality show where she finished as the runner-up. Jhanak subtly mocks Aniruddha, noting that his wife won the competition, making him uncomfortable. Meghla offers to sing a song for Jhanak, who won’t be able to participate in the evening ceremony, and also asks Jhanak to perform a dance. Initially hesitant, Jhanak eventually agrees to Meghla’s request.
