Jhanak: Jhanak to bring Mrinalini and Chhoton closer

Tonight's Jhanak episode opens with the joyous celebration of Appu's Gaye Holud, which takes place at the Bose household. Appu's parents are overjoyed as they witness their daughter's marriage. Despite the happiness around, Tanuja appears discontented, and fearing her gloomy demeanour might raise concerns among the guests, Shubo alerts her. While Appu's parents are anxious about her future with Lalan, Anjana remains hopeful that Lalan will provide Appu with a life full of happiness and contentment, noting his simplicity and open-mindedness as reassurances.

The haldi ceremony begins, and family members take turns applying haldi to Appu's face. However, when Mimi applies haldi to Arshi, she reacts angrily, causing a stir. Subho, troubled by the situation, plots to thwart the marriage, fearing that Lalan could become a significant threat if his family's dark past is revealed.

Later, Lalan's sister arrives at the Bose household with some friends and gifts. Shuvo and Srishti criticize her and her companions for their modest appearance, as they come from a less affluent background. Despite this, Lalan's sister welcomes Appu with warmth and affection.

Srishti grows more irate upon seeing Aniruddha arriving with Jhanak, questioning Tanuja about their whereabouts. Both Arshi and Srishti demand explanations from Aniruddha, who tries to clarify that he was simply following his father's instructions to fetch Chhoton. Nonetheless, Arshi and Srishti are unsatisfied with his responses and press him further, but Aniruddha remains tight-lipped.

As the haldi ceremony continues, Jhanak, Mimi, and Anjana join in a lively dance, bringing joy to Appu. Following the festivities, Appu performs a song and insists that Jhanak and Aniruddha join her in the haldi play. Their attempt to participate results in a heated argument between them, creating tension. 

As the celebration continues, Mrinalini approaches Jhanak, noting Aniruddha’s unusual anger. Jhanak attributes it to his denial of the truth. She warns that her presence will be problematic as long as she remains there, but she’s also stuck because Appu has insisted that she stay until the wedding. Mrinalini supports Jhanak, questioning why she should leave when she’s not at fault, though she believes all men are the same. Jhanak disagrees with this generalization.

Meanwhile, Appu is enjoying her haldi ceremony. Jhanak reassures Mrinalini that Chhoton is unique and unlike anyone else she could find. She urges Mrinalini to be honest with Chhoton about her feelings, suggesting that if neither of them can do it, she will. However, Mrinalini declines, saying it’s unnecessary. Jhanak then asks what Mrinalini plans to do. Mrinalini replies that she doesn't intends to go to the person who rejected her and ask him to marry her. Jhanak expresses that if Mrinalini won’t take action, she’ll have to step in herself. Mrinalini pleads with Jhanak to stay out of it, but Jhanak insists she will act according to what she feels is right. She assures Mrinalini to leave everything on her.
