Jhanak: Jhanak opens up about facing death without regret

Tonight's Jhanak episode begins with Aditya anxiously questioning the doctor about the test results. The doctor reveals that Jhanak is not pregnant but has a tumour in her body. Aditya is left stunned. The doctor explains that the tumour is significant and can't be ignored; they must operate on it immediately. Aditya urges the doctor to ensure Jhanak receives the best possible treatment. 

Jhanak reflects on her relationship with Aniruddha:

The doctor reassures him that the surgery can be scheduled for the next day after further tests and asks him to sign a bond. Aditya agrees, stating that he's Jhanak's friend. When asked who will sign the bond, he volunteers, explaining that Jhanak is all alone, her mother has passed away, and she must survive because her life is precious, especially since she just signed a film. The doctor assures him that Jhanak can return to her usual routine once she recovers. Aditya requests to meet Jhanak, asking if she knows about her condition. The doctor confirms that she has already informed Jhanak.

Meanwhile, Jhanak reflects on her relationship with Aniruddha, feeling relieved that he is now free from their connection. She contemplates her situation, wanting to share her thoughts with him as she still respects their bond. In another scene, Aniruddha is in his room, talking with Arshi. Their conversation quickly escalates into an argument about Jhanak. Arshi complains that her friends' lives are smooth after marriage, while theirs is full of problems, which she blames on Aniruddha. She tells him she has a program in Dubai and wants him to join her. Aniruddha responds enthusiastically, mentioning he'll need to apply for leave. Arshi agrees but adds that she hopes Jhanak doesn't show up, expressing her disdain for her, calling her characterless and ill-mannered.

Aditya confesses his true feelings:

Back at the hospital, Aditya enters Jhanak's room and apologizes for wasting her time. He mentions the bond the doctor asked him to sign, downplaying its significance. Jhanak, however, explains that signing the bond is essential, as it indicates there's a risk involved in the surgery. In another scene, Arshi continues her heated exchange with Aniruddha, accusing him of not standing up to his family, particularly his father. Aniruddha, clearly tired of the argument, asks her to drop the topic as it embarrasses him.

Jhanak confides in Aditya, saying she's not afraid of death and wouldn't have any regrets if something happened to her. She shares that she doesn't have anyone to mourn her loss. Aditya, emotionally affected, admits that he's just pretending to be indifferent, although he cares deeply. He explains that past betrayals made him cynical, leading him to live as a playboy, only engaging in casual relationships. He tells Jhanak that she was the one who made him believe in love again and that although love hurts, life without love is meaningless.

Arshi accuses Aniruddha:

Jhanak, concerned about the bond, tells Aditya to sign it but asks him to inform Aniruddha about her situation. Meanwhile, Arshi continues to blame Aniruddha for their problems, claiming that his involvement with Jhanak has ruined their lives. Aniruddha tries to defend Jhanak's character but eventually shuts down the conversation, asking Arshi to let him sleep as they have a busy day ahead. Arshi, feeling frustrated, accuses Aniruddha of still having feelings for Jhanak.

Aditya agrees to call Aniruddha and lets Jhanak know he admires her for being honest even in such a difficult time. Jhanak responds that it's just who she is. Aditya encourages her to stay strong, reassuring her that everything will be fine. He hesitates before holding her hand, but Jhanak insists that they are friends and there's no harm in it, thanking him for his support.

Later, Aniruddha gets a call from an unknown number while with Arshi. He assumes it's from Appu, but it's actually Aditya who informs him about Jhanak's critical surgery. Aditya explains that he'll sign the bond for the surgery, but Jhanak wanted him to inform Aniruddha, feeling it was her duty. Aditya expresses his disdain for Aniruddha, reminding him that he insulted Jhanak but also acknowledging that she still feels a responsibility to keep him informed. He also tells Aniruddha that although doctors initially thought Jhanak was pregnant, the real issue is a large tumour in her stomach. Aniruddha is left in shock.

In the precap, Arshi warns Aniruddha that if he goes to Mumbai, it will be the end of their relationship. She then calls Shrishti to inform her about Jhanak's hospitalization and how Aniruddha has been called. Aditya meets Aniruddha at the hospital, and Aniruddha asks if he can see Jhanak.
