"I remember in school we used to take part in cultural activities, especially dance and drama on Independence Day showcasing the struggle of what our freedom fighters through our act. As kids I remember reading through history books about revolutionists who sacrificed their life for this country. This year, through Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, I will be playing tribute through my special act on Vande Mataram."

"Being in military school, we used to have a lot of activities planned for Independence Day.
