Director Sanjay Gupta, known for making gangster flicks and has many films to his name like Shootout at Wadala, Shootout at Lokhandwala and more. After collaborating with John Abraham in Shootout at Wadala, the director is back with yet another gangster drama and has also roped in Emraan Hashmi for the film.
Besides the two talented actors, the makers of the film had disclosed the entire cast of the gangster drama, which includes Kajal Aggarwal, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy, Samir Soni and Amole Gupte in pivotal roles. However, in a shocking development, Jackie Shroff has opted out of the film.
As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Jackie Shroff did not have the dates to shoot for the film and the actor-director have mutually decided to part ways. “Jackie had a conflict of dates, and since Sanjay Gupta’s directorial is a start to finish shoot they both decided to mutually part ways,” a close source told the media portal.

In fact, Sanjay Gupta has narrowed it down to a few names, one of whom will be cast for the said role,” the source added.
Sanjay Gupta’s two-hero film featuring John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi is slated to be set around the time which involves key events like the closing of mills, the murder of a key businessman, the nexus between politicians, cops, the underworld, and the business fraternity.
The film is scheduled to be released on 19 June 2020.
