Jaaved Jaaferi on his 'Taaza Khabar 2' co-star Bhuvan Bam: "I found him to very........"

The much-awaited Hotstar Specials’ Taaza Khabar is back with its season 2. Vasya’s destiny and his vardaan will be challenged by the powerful Yusuf Akhtar leading to risking his life yet again along with his loved ones. Will Vasya be able to fight it or will Vardaan support him this time again?

We all know and love Bhuvan Bam for his multitude of talents—be it his humor, his music, or his knack for storytelling. However, for Jaaved Jaaferi, the veteran actor who plays the role of Yusuf, a villain, in Disney+ Hotstar's Taaza Khabar 2, it was Bhuvan’s maturity and deep understanding of the entertainment business that left a lasting impression. Sharing his thoughts on their collaboration, Jaaved Jaaferi revealed the specific qualities that struck him most about the young entertainer.

Talking about Bhuvan Bam, Jaaved Jaaferi said, “Collaborating with Bhuvan Bam has been a fantastic experience. Initially, I wasn’t familiar with short video content, but I heard about Bhuvan’s popularity and decided to check out his work. It’s impressive how he has tapped into a new form of entertainment that didn’t exist in my time. I found him to be very warm and respectful. Our first in-person meeting was at an awards show where I was presenting an award. Later, when the director felt I could fit the role of Yusuf, Bhuvan and I discussed it, and I was struck by his maturity and understanding of the business. He has managed to carve out a significant niche in the industry, which speaks volumes about his ability to resonate with people and stay relevant."

Produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam under the banner of BB Ki Vines Productions and Directed by Himank Gaur, the series also stars the veteran actor Jaaved Jaaferi along with Shriya Pilgaonkar, Prathamesh Parab, Deven Bhojani and Shilpa Shukla in prominent roles among others.  Taaza Khabar Season 2 will be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from 27th September.
