Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is a well-known director, screenwriter, and producer who is best known for films such as Raaz, Shaapit, Footpath, Jurm, and 1920, some of which are based on Hollywood blockbusters.

Over the years, we've had mega successes like Raaz, which was inspired by What Lies Beneath, Awaara Pagal Deewana, which was inspired by The Whole Nine Yards, and many more. Now, he's poised to release Anamika, a new spy thriller on OTT. Is Anamika also influenced by another blockbuster, Kill Bill? Let's see what we can find out!

Action scenes — The principal protagonist in both Anamika and Kill Bill is shown conducting class-apart action routines. Sunny Leone spent months practising in martial arts and swordsmanship for this web series, and Uma Thurman spent months training in martial arts and swordsmanship.

Sunny Leone and Uma Thurman are both looking for vengeance. Sunny Leone is fighting foes as she sets out to discover the truth about her history, as shown in Anamika's trailer. And the Bride, Uma Thurman, travels to Japan to settle old scores with her foes.

Assassins - They are both portraying trained assassins who have been missing for years and have resurfaced. Anamika, a web series, and Kill Bill, a film, are both packed with action and thrills, and both portray their characters as the world's deadliest assassins.

Attacked on their wedding day – The most striking parallel between the two is that the protagonists are attacked on the day they decide to spend the rest of their lives with their partner. On the same day, they learn that they have been trained as assassins.

Is this just a coincidence? We're excited to see it.
