Iqbal Khan to return with a Zee show?

Iqbal Khan who shot to fame with Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai on Sony has been missing from television for quite a while now. But the buzz is that the actor is all set to make a comeback with a Zee TV and Big Synergy show.
   
Big Synergy who brought about the comeback of Rajeev Khandelwal to television with their show Sach Ka Saamna, is producing a fiction show for Zee TV. The title of the show is not fixed yet.

According to our source, "Some big and popular names from the television industry were auditioned for the main roles in the show. The show will have two male leads, who will fall for one girl".

The buzz is that Aniruddh Dave has been finalized to play one of the leads, and will play a mentally challenged person. The other lead in the show will be a tough and principled Rajput who will fall in love with the main girl.

Our source adds, "Actors like Hiten Tejwani, Shabbir Ahluwalia were short listed to play the role of the Rajput. But it is Iqbal Khan who has apparently been chosen. For the female lead, the channel and production house are in talks with few popular ladies of television. But the girl has not been finalized till now. However, Aniruddh Dave and Iqbal Khan have not yet signed the contract papers, and things should get clearer once the female lead is also got".

We sent a text message to Iqbal Khan who replied in text saying, "I am out of town, and will not be able to talk now. I will get back to you in few days time".

Iqbal Khan was last seen in Zee TV's Waaris, and was also finalized to host Sambhav Kya? for 9X, before the television strike happened.
