TV actress Parul Chauhan, who is currently playing the role of Naira's (Shivangi Joshi) understanding mother-in-law 'Swarna Goenka' in top-rated Star Plus show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', tied the knot with actor Chirag Thakkar on 12^th December. Post which, the newly-married couple hosted a reception for their families and close friends on 16^th December in the actress' home town Lakhimpur in Uttar Pradesh.

Now, Parul is off to Maldives with hubby Chirag Thakkar where the newly-married couple is enjoying their honeymoon. The couple is having the time of their lives in Maldives & has shared their special honeymoon moments with fans on social media. Parul & Chirag have posted few romantic pictures from Maldives honeymoon on their Instagram accounts. In the pictures, clicked at Maafushi Island in Maldives, the couple looks super-happy in each other's company.

Post which, she went on to do shows like 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3', 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi', 'Rishton Se Badi Pratha',' Punar Vivah' among others. Whereas Chirag Thakkar is best known for playing the role of Sakshi Tanwar's brother Kartik' in Sony TV's popular show Bade Acche Lagte Hai'. He was paired opposite Sumona Chakravarti in the show.
