Rituraj Singh, the actor known for his role in the Star Plus show Anupamaa, passed away at 59. His friend and colleague, Amit Behl, confirmed that he suffered a heart attack. Rituraj had been recently hospitalized due to a pancreatic illness.
Sneh Wagh, who acted alongside Rituraj in the show Jyoti, expressed her sorrow over his passing. She recalled how Rituraj mentored the younger actors on set and brought joy with his laughter. She mentioned seeing him in various movies and online shows recently. She wished he had taken better care of his health.
Sneh Wagh shared her first show screen space with Rituraj on Jyoti, expressed grief, "It's just a couple of days ago that my first Hindi tv series Jyoti completed its 15 years of launch and today this news of Rituraj ji passing away has had me in shock! I was very young, and I remember him mentoring us like we were little kids. He played an important role in the show."
When we were on sets, his cheerful laughter changed the whole environment. He made sure that everyone was in a good mood. It's not okay to wake up to such sad news. Recently, I saw him in a lot of movies and OTT shows. He was doing well. I wish he had taken better care of his health, too.
