I opted for the show because of its concept - Ravish Desai

The good looking actor Ravish Desai, who was last seen in Star Plus' much loved show Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi...Meri Bhabhi is all set to make a comeback to television with an all new character of Vihaan in 24 Frames' much awaited show Satrangi Sasural on Zee TV.

Ravish can easily relate himself to the character that he is going to play in the show and he feels good to be around with his seven on-screen mothers on sets. TellyBuzz spoke to Ravish and tries to dig deep into his character, working with his co-stars on the show and much more.

Vihaan is a very mature guy - I am playing the character of Vihaan Vatsal. He is a young businessman. He is a sweet, simple, charming and a sensitive guy who has been brought up by his seven mothers in the house with lots of affection. He knows his responsibilities and he is not at all arrogant. He is strong headed and a very mature individual who understands the pain what woman goes through in her life. He respects women a lot and he is a very fun loving guy.

Vihaan is sensitive towards women and so do I - I can relate to the sensitivity that he has towards women and the respect he has for women. He doesn't make impulsive decisions. He is very fun loving and humorous. So, these are the qualities that even I have.

I gave audition for Satrangi Sasural in the last week of Meri Bhabhi - I got a call for audition for Satrangi Sasural that time itself when Meri Bhabhi was ending. I got a confirmation from them after giving auditions but that time I was out for holidays in Himachal. After I came back from holidays, I was called for a look test. So, I was almost a part of the show right from the time Meri Bhabhi ended.

It's easy-going working with Mugdha - I am sharing a very good rapport with my seven mothers from day one. We sit and chat together and it's good to share a lovely rapport with all of them who all are very good artists as well. We spend lots of good times together and we eat together so it's just like a family like environment on the sets now. It's so easy going working with Mugdha (Mugdha Chaphekar). Both of us belong to Mumbai and from day one we are sharing a very good rapport with each other. There are lots of common things between us. She is a wonderful person, sweet girl and very good actor. We always try to perform our scenes better than it's written. We gel with each other really well.

The show has a very unique concept - I opted for the show because of its concept. This kind of a concept has never ever shown before on television in Hindi genre. It's a very unique concept and a very progressive idea where there is only one guy with his seven mothers. This is creating a curiosity among the audience that what role this guy is going to have among his seven mothers. Being the only guy around so many women itself is great. I found this concept very unique and the show has some great writers like Purnendu Shekhar. So, the people involved in the show are really good. So it's assured that the quality of the work that is going to come out will be equally good. My only reason to accept this show was the unique idea and the concept.

The promos of the show have created a curiosity among the viewers - The response so far has been very good. It has created a lot curiosity among people after watching the promos of the show. I gave seven rings to Arushi in the first promo which made people curious to know about the concept of the show. After that, Vihaan takes Arushi to seven different places where he asks different questions and Arushi answers them. Later, he introduces her to his seven mothers which surprise Arushi. The response of the promos has been good. Just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

Kanchi (Kanchi Kaul) appreciated the promo and wished me luck - The response from the co-stars of my previous show has been great. Kanchi watched the promo and she appreciated  and wished me luck. So it feels good that everybody is watching and giving us so much of love and wishes. I feel all will be well if we have so many people's best wishes with us.

We are working hard to make this show a good one and make it a no. 1 show because the concept of the show is very unique and has all the capabilities of becoming the no. 1 show. Please follow the show and keep showering your love upon all of us. The show has a good bunch of actors so I am sure we won't disappoint you.
