Being your second show with Vibhav Roy after Gustakh Dil, how is your bond with him?

We share a very nice bond. Since we have worked together in Gustakh, we have good connection and are very comfortable working with each other.

How much do you relate to your character in real?

I can relate to my character in lot of ways. I have stayed in Mumbai for almost 5 years alone without my family, it made me very confident, independent and a strong headed girl like my character Koyal. She is a little gullible and vulnerable too which I am only in front of my friends. Only difference is that she is little impractical, she thinks from her heart more than mind but for me I balance things as when I think from my heart I also do think from my mind because both play significant roles in our life.

How much have you worked on your character Koyal?

Not much physically but yes I have worked mentally a lot. As this is a main lead for Star Plus, they obviously want a girl who is very positive and at same time for this character I had to be gullible and vulnerable. Not only this but also very opinionated and a strong headed woman who takes stand for herself, who is confident. To maintain all this together it was bit difficult in start, even Ekta Ma'am asked me to cut down on my confident as I have to look sweet and a very nice girl who knows how to handle her problems and situations and stand for the right things she wants in life.

Tell us about your look?

It is simple, elegant and very different from other looks of the lead on the shows. I am very happy in context to my looks because I have always been given nice looks in the shows. This time it is Dhoti pant, short kurtis and the special payals. It is special because I will be wearing two Payals on the same feet just for a style statement.

You being a Bengali beauty, how exciting it is to play a Bengali character on television?

More than me, I am excited for my parents to see me in this Bengali Avtaar.

What would you say to your fans?

I would want them to give immense love to my this show as well. Whatever I am today is because of them so I need them and would ask them to watch our show as now a days, getting good TRPs is a big task.
