India Forums has been at the forefront in reporting updates about Colors show ‘Choti Sardarni’. Recently, we reported about actress Mansi Sharma returning to the show as Harleen, while reports suggested that Simran Sachdeva would enter the same.
Another major replacement in the show has been that of actor Shehzad Dhami. Dhami called it quits quoting ‘creative dissatisfaction’ as the reason of the quitting the show. Makers then roped in actor Vineet Raina to play the character. Vineet is looking dapper in the show as the new Param Singh Gill.
India Forums got in touch with Vineet to know about his thoughts on replacing an actor, he said, “Well, the responsibility is always higher when you replace an actor because that actor has already made a mark with his stint in the show. The previous actor who played the character has done a great job. The channel and the production house (Cockcrow and Shaika Entertainment) have roped me in with some expectations and it’s my responsibility to not upset them and my audience. I’m thrilled to be back with the channel post Ishq Mein Marjaawan and I’m loving experience of portraying the character”.
As far as I know, the audiences are in for a major twist in the show. A lot of things will change and the focus will shift on other characters equally.- Vineet Raina

Shehzad left the show because of lesser screen space and character importance. Talking about the same, Vineet said, “Honestly, to each its own. I take things very differently. It’s a daily soap and the focus can not be entirely on one or two characters. At times, there are ups and downs. I'm taking it as a new venture and not treating as a half-way project. But as far as I know, the audiences are in for a major twist in the show. A lot of things will change and the focus will shift on other characters equally”.
Talking about bonding with the cast and crew of the show, Raina said, “We’re having a ball of a time. The cast has accepted me with open arms. As far as the crew is concerned, I’ve been in the industry since a while now and know the crew members as well”.
Here’s wishing Vineet a very best of luck for the show!
