He shares his experience on the role. "Playing Justin in Ashoka has been one of the most memorable experiences of my life. It was a combination of so many things. Such a complexed and intriguing character to begin with along with brilliant co-actors, superb effective team. To add to all this the atmosphere of the shoot was amazing because we all became great friends and none of us felt like we were working."
Sumit also shares his bonding with the junior Ashoka aka Siddharth Nigam, he adds,"Working with Siddharth was special despite the fact that we didn't have too many scenes together because he is a genuinely wonderful boy with a strong value system and tremendous confidence. I remember before the show took off, he and I were practicing some action on the beach along with the action master. I made a joke saying that I am going to trouble you in the show, to this he replied do whatever you want to do but I am the real Ashoka. This was enough to show his confidence. I remember how he would constantly come to me for advise and opinion on his performance. I truly love him as a younger brother."
Sumit Kaul is currently seen in Hamari Bahu Rajnikant and 24 simultaneously.

Loved them both in CAS as Justin and Ashoka. They had some good scenes together too. Justin was a layered character. You had empathy for him as well as feel anger towards him. Sumit Kaul rocked as Justin the tortured lover of Noor and then the Father of Siyamak who can never acknowledge him publically. Siddharth Nigam? What can I say about this kid? He is beyond amazing. No superlatives are enough to describe him. His fan since Mahakumbh and will always watch anything he is part of in future.
