I can't stay without acting for long: Shamin Mannan

TellyBuzz spoke to Shamin to know more about her future plans and things that she is busy with these days. She told us, "I am perfectly fine now and after I quit Sanskaar, I went for a holiday to Udaipur and I also to pay a visit to Ajmer Dargaah. After coming back from holiday, I am giving time to myself. I have joined the gym, joined swimming classes. I have also consulted a dietician for the correct guidance as taking diet on my own had made me weak as I was following a wrong diet. I am having fun right now. I am getting a lot of offers and meeting people for the same. I would prefer to play young and dynamic kind of roles and not the stereotype ones. I would like to play a very strong character of  an independent girl. I want to play young roles so that I don't get offers for portraying typical bahu kind of characters."

Talking about her future plans she said, "I am looking forward to doing a reality show now because I want to present myself as Shamin after presenting myself as Bhoomi. I would love to be a part of any dance reality show but not of Big Boss as I don't like the idea of getting locked inside a house with no proper facilities (chuckles)."

When asked Shamin as to whether she is following Sanskaar she told us, "Not really, as I am travelling a lot, going out for parties and socializing so I am not getting much time to follow the show but I have seen few episodes of the show after I have quit the show. Kadambari Kadam is good as Bhoomi and we both have different style of portraying the character. I really miss being a part of the show because whenever I go to any mall or somewhere else people ask me about my comeback as Bhoomi and I even get messages on my fan pages of social networking site about the same. It feels really good to see such kind of love and to know that people want to see me back."

Thanking her fans, she says, "I love them all and I know that they want to see me back soon and they want to see me in Sanskaar which is not possible but definitely I will be making a comeback on television as Shamim very soon or may be in some other character. I would request them to have patience to see me back on TV soon."
