"I can't handle many people in my life," Says Krishna Chali London's Bhoomika Mirchandani

The actress made her debut with Star Plus' Krishna Chali London. The show went off-air last year. Talking about the character she played, she said, "I have been in the industry for just three years now. I played a negative role in Krishna Chali London. I was famous for my catch phrase 'Ambe Maiya', and even now when people see me they say 'Ambe Maiya'. Though it was a negative character, it was funny, innocent and childish, but by the end of the show my character becomes positive."

Unlike her on-screen character, Bhoomika Mirchandani is the cutest, fun-loving girl you will meet. Though she is very friendly, she finds it difficult to maintain friendship with a lot of people. She says she cannot handle too many people in her life.

"I am a very friendly person but I cannot maintain friendship. I can't handle too many people in my life. I have literally like two to three friends in my life with whom I talk once a month. It’s very tough for me to connect with people, I am very very picky when it comes to people," she said.

In the future, she wants to play bubbly and energetic roles but her dream role is "to play a mentally challenged person", because she feels she will be able to pull it off really well.

She feels she was lucky to get her debut role easily and she feels confident when she is facing the camera. Talking about how she got into acting, she said, "I had just one talent which was acting. When I came to Mumbai, I joined acting classes, but it was of no use, because acting is something which nobody can teach you. Then I gave an audition for 'Krishna Chali London' and got selected."

Bhoomika lost her father three years ago. Remembering her father she said, "My father passed away three years ago he was on dialysis for the past 10 years, we were quite prepared for his death."

And she says she was a true "draamebaaz" since childhood, recalling an incident, she said, "My mom was used to work so to get her attention I started saying that I have frequent headaches. I was so good that my mother took me for a MRI."
