Last seen on reality show 'Nach Baliye' 7 (Star Plus), the beautiful Aishwarya Sakhuja has been keen on participating in stunt based reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi... Kabhi Keeda Kabhi Peeda' (Colors) from the past two years. The lady has finally got her dream turn into reality, as she will be seen fighting her fears on this show.
Let's find out how Aishwarya plans to fight her fears through this show.
Aishwarya, how excited are you to be a part of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi... Kabhi Keeda Kabhi Peeda'?
I am super excited and have wanted to be a part of this show from the past 2 years. I could not take up the show last year because the launch was close to the date I was going to get married on, and the year before, the dates conflicted with my on-going daily show. Now that I am finally getting a chance to be a part of this show, I have mixed emotions.
How do you plan to fight your fears?
As each year, the show takes the bar of stunt performances a notch higher, I wanted to be a part of the previous seasons (Laughs). Well, I stopped watching 'Fear Factor' because I started recognizing what all I would not want to do on the show. I want to enter the show as a blank canvas.
Talking about fears, what are do you fear the most?
Had you asked me this question 10 days back, I would have said, I fear nothing! But to think of it, I am really scared and nervous about coming in physical proximity with an alligator! Because no matter how you tie him, the reptile has a strong tail which can break any human's bones.
So what do you think about the level of competition this show has to offer?
The biggest strength one needs to have is mental calm and presence of mind. If the contestants convince themselves that they can pull off the tasks without panicking, as there is a delegated team of around 100 men to ensure our safety, they can emerge as winners. There is no way we are going to get injured majorly or die on the show. It is all about taking it up and overcoming your fears!
Lastly, we would like to ask you about the support your husband has to offer about doing this show, given the fact that this is going to be your first Diwali post marriage?
Rohit is very supportive. In fact, I discussed this with him before taking this decision, as I would not only miss out on Diwali but also our wedding anniversary which falls on December 5. But he suggested that if I postpone this show, age might not support my performance and encouraged me to go ahead with 'Khatron Ke Khiladi... Kabhi Keeda Kabhi Peeda'.
We wish you luck for 'Khatron Ke Khiladi... Kabhi Keeda Kabhi Peeda'!
