'I am now looking forward to a dance reality show' - Aditi Gowitrikar

Aditi Gowitrikar on her stay in the Bigg Boss house, on her experience, the friends she made and much more...

Aditi Gowitrikar remained in the house for seventy odd days, but failed to qualify for the Grand Finale.

Here is the latest evictee from the Bigg Boss house in a chat with Telly Buzz..

Why did you opt for Bigg Boss?
I opted for Bigg Boss because I wanted to start my career all over again, after delivering my baby who is two and half years old now. Bigg Boss is the biggest reality show in India, and I thought that it could give me the mileage for starting a second innings.  At the end of it, it was overall an enriching experience.

You say it's a good platform, but there can be times when your image can get hampered. Were you not skeptical of this?
Yes, I agree of this fact. But I wanted to be part of the challenge, and did not want to refuse what's being offered to me. I just kept my fingers crossed and went for it.

So you aim to do only reality shows on TV?
No, I have never said that!! Two reality shows came my way, and I really had a blast. I have done Fear Factor which was completely different, and now Bigg Boss. Both were great fun, and I am now looking forward to a dancing reality show. I also want to get a good character role like in De Dhana Dhan, where I played Paresh Rawal's second wife. I would like to do films like that.

What is the reason for starting your career all over again?
Well, I was on a break when I got pregnant with my kid. Now he is two and half years old, so I can take up some work. Also certain personal issues in my life have forced me to look for work.

So tell us about your overall experience being in Bigg Boss?
I thought the journey would be easier, but as I realized much later, the whole experience was tough. This is a psychological game, where we have to get along with people having different personalities. Also doing certain errands around the house like cooking, sweeping and other things were also a challenge. The biggest challenge for me was to stay away from my kids.

There was a drastic change in the behaviour of Poonam towards you?
Initially, when all were present I used to spend most of my time with Tanaaz, Bakhtiyar and Shamita. So I did not get a chance to interact more with Poonamji. But later on, we bonded well. But yes, there were some arguments and hiccups that could have been avoided.

But while giving an interview to Mr. Bachchan, you said that you don't want  the Bigg Boss title to go to Poonam?
The reason behind this is that she appeared to be different for the first nine weeks, and on the tenth week, when a particular task was given, she changed drastically. I think a person who has kept a certain viewpoint throughout the whole show should win the game. Having said that, Poonamji has played the game in the way she feels right, and I think she has an equal chance of winning.

Now that you are no more part of the game, have you forgiven Rohit?
Who am I to forgive him, I am not God? Yes, I am really upset with the clipping shown to us. I am more upset with Rohit when compared to the other two, because Rohit gave me an impression that he loves me. He used to say that I am a nice person and he respects me. But plotting against everyone saying, 'Mallika ko nikalo', 'Doctor ko nikalo', 'Khiladi ko nikalo' was not right at all. He really back stabbed Tanaaz, Bakhtiyar and Claudia. If he had played the game purely, he would have stayed in the house even now.

Whom do you think will win the title?
It's a very tough thing to say. Now that I am not in the house, and am seeing the show from an outsider's perspective, I really can't say.

Was there any moment in the house where you felt like running out?
(laughs) I had made up my mind that I will not cry in front of the camera. I did not want my kids to break down, seeing me cry. But I did break down once in the bathroom, but nothing in the house made me cry. I felt like slapping people many times, especially Rohit.

You were a very good friend of Vinod Kambli, but he became very upset when you voted him out?
Kambli happens to be my husband's friend. Whenever we have met, we have had a casual chat. But in the game, we had to nominate someone giving a valid reason, and I think I did that. I was not the only one who nominated him. Above all, the final decision is never in our hands.

Did Pravesh entering later into the house give him an advantage?
Yes he came into the house with an advantage. He came after five weeks, and had seen the way in which we were playing the game. So it became easier for him to play smart.

So what did you gain from the Bigg Boss house?
I made three good friends in Tanaaz, Bakhtiyar and Shamita Shetty.

So what after Bigg Boss?
I have just got out, I will want to first meet my kids. I will then rehearse for my performance in the Grand Finale. Only after that will I sit with my manager to discuss future plans.

Bakhityaar is out of the house now, only three left in the house, I think Vindu will win, coz he has a strong support from the film industry people as well, not only the viewers, so they would even ask their fans to vote for him..........
