Ankit Bhatla is very excited about his new project on Colors, Thapki, where he will be seen essaying the character of Dhruv who owns a news channel. Ankit will be essaying such kind of role for the first time and he sounds excited about the same.

Lets see what do Ankit has to say about the show..

Tell us about your character in Thapki?

I am essaying the character of Dhruv who is an owner of a news channel. He is a person his own set of values, morals and certain norms for his life. His truthful and positive attitude inspire Thapki.

What kind of efforts did you take to essay this character?

In four years of my career I have never done such a character. In reality I am very talkative and a straight forward person, whereas on the show I am essaying a role of a matured person, who speaks less. So I have to really control myself while essaying this character, lot of external and internal research has been done by me for that.

What is your viewpoint about the concept?

As an actor I would always look up to do something different and as a concept Thapki is brilliant. I think this is for the first time the audience will watch a story about a girl who stammers and fights and survives in society. It has lot of shades; romance , intense emotions and more which will appeal to the audience.

It seems that Journalism as a theme is explored a lot by makers these days, what is your take on this?

I think journalism is trending on television these days , even in our show we have a set up of a news channel. I wont deny that the makers are very much influenced by the field of journalism and its obviously a great job. Had there been no media there would not be any sort of news, I respect this field. We exist because they do.

How do you manage shooting for Lage Raho Chachu and Thapki?

I am done with the shooting of Lage Raho Chachu, few days back I was juggling between two shows. It was very tiring as I used to work in two shifts with my respective shows. I enjoyed working with kids in Lage Raho Chachu as I love kids.

Can you share something about your association with Colors?

Its a good opportunity to work with Colors , it is among the top two GEC's. I was associated with Colors when I was doing Humari Saas Leela.

Obviously.. am follow the show.. everyone pls watch thapki pyar ki on colors mon to sat at 7pm on colors. Its a different concept. It is the story of thapki who stammers while speaking

she's right in a way, i agree! why should v b killing animals merely for our eating purpose? v hv lots of other things to eat...or do v? what's missing in this article is that most of the vitamins/minerals that our body requires comes from meat or generally..animals...so shuld v risk our HEALTH because killing animals is too cruel? this z what i don't agree with. Call me selfish but u as well as i knw that this is the simple truth!
