#HugDay: These Television Characters could do with a HUG this Hug Day!
Well, we sympathize with these characters and hence the hugs.

HUGS are something that are cherished by everyone, right from small children to young couples to even old people. But here, we are purely talking about the hug that two people in love share. A hug is supposed to make the person feel loved and secure in the arms of his/her lover. A hug completes two people. A hug is comforting.
2017 Valentine's week is finally here. And just like each yea, Tellybuzz is back with its Valentines Day features. So, keeping in mind the occasion of Hug Day, we decided to list down a few television characters that can make do with a hug this year.
Shivani (Niti Taylor) in Ghulaam
Firstly, the lady got married against her wishes to Rangeela (Param Singh) and if that was not enough, she had to marry Rangeela's master Veer (Vikas Manaktala). Two two marriages within a span of 2 days with two heartless men, accompanied by an atrocious mother-in-law and a sister-in-law, who are hell bent on not letting her even breathe in peace...Ooh God, she tops the list of someone who needs a hug desperately.
Tanuja (Kratika Sengar) in Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki
Turbulence should have been tanuja's second name. She is the incarnation of her husband Rishi's (Ssharad Malhotra) first true love. All this while, she received his hatred in abundance and just when she was getting his love in return, she got to know she is Tanu. She also has come to know that she has to separate from her Rishi because she is the reason for his problems. Even after 2 lifetimes, Tanu/Tanuja can not live with the love of her life. Uff... she can definitely use a hug.
Saanjh (Aneri Vajani) in Beyhadh
Friend zoned, is how we'd describe her. While loving your childhood bestfriend has its pros and cons, 'bechari' Saanjh got all the cons on her side. Her childhood best friend Arjun (Kushal Tandon) fell in love with Maya (Jennifer Winget) and is getting married to her and there's nothing that Saanjh can do about it, apart from singing 'Channa Mereya' at his wedding Ranbir Kapoor style in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Well, no one offered Ranbir a hug in the movie, but we sure can offer Saanjh a hug here.
Soumya (Rubina Dilaik) in Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki
She has had to face the hatred of two people that most children hold close to their heart - her Father and Dadi. She had to grow up hiding from the world and the people of her community. After growing up, she had to face reality that she was not a woman but a kinner (transgender), she got married to the man she was in love with, but due to circumstances, had to then marry him off to her own younger sister Surbhi (Roshni Sahota). And now, she is trying to unite her husband Harman (Vivian Dsena) and her sister/sautan. Writing her story makes us want a hug for ourselves. We can't even begin to imagine how badly Soumya needs a hug.
Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi
Getting stuck between his mother and his wife is any man's worst nightmare. And if the mother and the wife do not get along with each other, then it is the nightmare coming to life. And Dev has been a part of this nightmare. We can only imagine why Dev has become the carefree playboy that he is today. Having a possessive mother like Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) and a headstrong wife like Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) will do that to any man. Come on Dev, get a hug man!
Omkara (Kunal Kulbhushan Singh) in Ishqbaaaz
His was already a sad life considering the fact that his parents did not get along well (hug no.1). Then, his girlfriend plotted with his father and tried to take away the one thing that meant the most to him after his mother, his brother Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) away from him (hug no 2). And now, instead of leading his life on his terms, he has to now try and save his mother's life from being destroyed by his father and his mistress. He had to get engaged to his father's mistress so that his father would not marry her (hug no 3). Omkara needs numerous hugs.
Ravish (Shashank Vyas) in Jaana Na Dil Se Door
He got married to a girl that his family chose for him. He then fell in love with his wife only to come to know that his wife Vividha (Shivani Surve) was in love with his step brother Atharv (Vikram Singh Chauhan), whom he was secretly treating at his place. And when his brother's memory came back, he practically delivered his wife/his brother's love, on a golden platter, back to him. He should be awarded a hug at the least.
All these characters have made great sacrifices, but in the end, have nothing to themselves. A hug is mandatory for these characters, don't you think so?
