Hot Star's show 'Badtameez Dil' to go off air!

The show has ended it's contract with Hotstar and thus would end soon...

It's sad news for the fans and viewers of the show 'Phir Bhi Naa Maane...Badtameez Dil' as it would soon come to an end. The show was earlier aired on Star Plus, but was pulled off due to low TRPs and was then aired exclusively on Hot Star.

According to a report from a daily portal, the show had got a lease to be on air on Hot Star app for two months, which has now come to an end. Also, with the leads Abeer aka Pearl V Puri and Meher aka Asmita Sood finally getting back together, the track reached its saturation. Since, the contract with the Hotstar was for two months, it will be ended by 18^th November i.e. tomorrow.

When we approached actress Asmita Sood she seemed to be a bit busy.However, she confirmed to the news saying,"Yes the show is coming to an end".

Also, producer of the show Saurabh Tewari confirmed to the news by tweeting it on his twitter handle.

This came as a shocker to all us BD fans :'( I dont blame hotstarr much on this coz at least they gave us a platform to watch teh show fr another two months..the credits fr ruining the show goes to Star Plus..this f***in channel ! I will nt blame ST at all..this story line of bd is the best ever..i hav never watched st shows previously and bd being the first, i greatly appreciated teh storyline and star cast! It was sp untimely decision of axing bd ended up the story in a lil of mess! SP u suck to teh core and u as a channel will always be hated no matter wat!

"Pearl V Puri and Asmita Sood " u two are MAGIC! The most adorable couple i have seen both on and off screen :* MehBeer and PearMita have given us the best memories is just 5 months of span. I soo badly want to see u guys back together..i know the chances are rare but m still hoping fr it! Acting wise and personality wise u guys proved urself!

Lastly the whole casting was just perfect and loved each n every character of 'Phir Bhi Naa Maane...Badtameez Dil'

show will be missed and will miss Pearlie and asmi the most! :* :'(

@rg0782 this time ST didn't disappoint the fans. The show was going on really well on hotstar. Every episode was worth watching. Yet again it is Star Plus which has disappointed the fans by making Phir Bhi Na Maane..Badtameez Dil end so abruptly.
Anyways I want to thank the whole team of BD for giving us this wonderful and worth watching show. I wish all of them all the best for their future ventures.
Pearl V Puri and Asmita Sood you guys are fantastic. Thank you for giving us MehBeer. Hope to see you two back onscreen asap

honestly I have nothing against the actors pearl or asmita or the show or its fan...in fact I have a huuuge crush on pearl :P but its Saurabh Tewari whom I hate to the core of my heart...and with BD going off air I am feeling really glad... BD fans really sorry I am not happy coz I am a BD hater but because it will give Mr. Tewari a taste of his own medicine...I am really looking forward to celebrate his failure :D :D.. BD fas one suggestions to u, never ever watch a ST show again, you will be cheated and deceived again and again, that is what he always does..

Star Plus is for Saas Bahu shows guyz. All they want TRP. Nothing else. They never cared about the people who watch their shows online(young people). Hate SP. It is time to Colors to rock...

Though it was known by fans that the show would end, no one saw it ending this week itself. Something went wrong somewhere and I am disappointed with Hotstar for the way they treated one of the most successful shows on their app.

I'm going to miss Pearl V Puri and Asmita Sood, they really made MehBeer a memorable jodi.

Phir Bhi Na Maane..Badtameez Dil only lasted 5 months but the memories it has left behind will be cherished forever by fans. Hoping Asmita and Pearl can be seen together again if destiny permits

I hate SP... a show must get its time to build a rapo with its audience... usually these saas-bahu crap viewers are females in their middle ages to old ages... while we youngsters love to watch it on net and that2 only youthful shows without crap... I miss my Star One... I think youth shows must be on V instead of SP... I felt V like another Star One... HHL, TBP, SG, SH...

i don't know when producers will understand that Star Plus is only meant for saas-bahu shows, why they give their youth based shows to this channel. i hope next time a great show like BD is pitched to Zee Tv instead...at least they don't have a habit of shutting down shows within months.

Show had so much potential!!!!! I really think SP has totally lost it...still can't believe they replaced this show for EK's usual saas bahu drama crap!!!! Anyways actors are really a very good performers n will reach their deserved heights!! Glad the story was always interesting n CVs were awesome!! So ya guys wish u all luck n success in life!!
