Here's Why Shoaib Ibrahim Said 'No' to Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 18

In a recent Q&A session, actor Shoaib Ibrahim opened up about why he chose not to participate in Bigg Boss 18. His response clarified the ongoing rumors about his absence from the popular reality show. Shoaib has a large fan base in the television industry, and every season, his name creates a buzz around the show. This year, many expected to see him in Bigg Boss 18. However, the actor finally explained his reasons for stepping back.

Shoaib shared his views, saying, "I might be wrong, but personally, I feel Bigg Boss is no longer about personality; now it’s content-driven." He continued, "Pehle personality ka show hua karta tha. Abhi jitna zyada aap content doge, utna zyada aap dikhoge ya aapko dikhaya jayega ya aap aage tak jaaoge." Shoaib noted that the format has changed from showcasing personalities to focusing on content.

He also reflected on his decision, saying, "Jaise ki maine pehle bhi bola hai ki abhi mai apne aap ko convince nahi kar paya hu. Agar kabhi aage aisa hua ki ha muje karna hai, convince kar liya toh shayad kar lu par abhi filal ye reason hai." Shoaib expressed that while he isn’t convinced about joining now, he might consider it in the future if he feels differently.

Explaining further, he said, "Aisa lagta hai ki kabhi kisiko bohot zyada favor kar rahe hote ya kisi ko bohot zyada humilate kar rahe hote hai. Kuch na kuch chal rha hota hai." Shoaib feels the show now seems to favor certain contestants, which may overshadow genuine personalities.

Bigg Boss 18, titled Bigg Boss: Time Ka Tandav, is the 18th season of the popular Indian Hindi reality show. It premiered on 6th October 2024 on Colors TV and JioCinema, with Salman Khan returning as the host for the 15th time.
