Mother's are a gift to humankind. And while we have troubled them just as much as we have loved them ever since we were kids, as grown-ups, we have nothing more than love to give to our moms. So this time on Mother's Day, we asked our favourite TV actors to tell us about their most favourite human beings on the planet - their mothers!

My mother's name is Charumathi Venketaramanan. She's also called Charu. Well, I'm not going to be in Delhi for this Mother's Day. My mother has an obsession for collecting different kinds of hair clips and she has plenty of them. So I am definitely going to gift her a box full of that because she always asks for that. Apart from that, each year we, as in me and my sister, gift her whatever she wants. My mother has always been a person with a lot of resilience; something I have tried to learn and have failed miserably. But over the years, I have definitely learned to recover quickly from difficulties and to be able to bounce back. My mom has taught me that this is something you need to be able to do to survive in this world. It's something my mother excels in. With each breath, I can only keep chanting how much I love her!

Sara Arfeen Khan:

For me, I feel every day is Mother's Day and celebrating it on one day would not be proper. So, I celebrate Mother's Day every day. The special gift I would give my mom is to never let her down and make her happy always, no matter what happens. I would not show her that something is wrong as she already has looked after me so much. Because, to see her child happy is what every mother dreams. This Mother's Day, I wish that she stays charged and positive. About gifts, I don't think they expect anything materialistic from us. The values she gave me, I use them in my life which is my gift to her.

My mother's name is Veena Wahi. Well, I'll be shooting in Mumbai on the 14th. I guess like every Mother's Day, I always say this, that there is not one day that I need to thank her or tell her how much I love her. She has been an inspiration for me and since I am the only child to my parents, I have always received utmost care and love from her end.

Rajshri Rani:

My mother's name is Siya Shukla. This Mother's Day, I would like to gift a house to her. It's a different thing that she's not with me and I won't be able to share that happiness with her, but I would like to buy a house. I always learned that she was a very clear hearted, simple person and I would always want to be like her. I would like to be like her so that everyone will love me. One message to her would be, that I didn't say it often, and I guess no one says also, and that is I love you very much. Until she was alive, I was living for her and now that she's not here, I am still living for her.

My mother's name is Satya Wadhwa. Usually, my day starts with my mother's blessing, but14th Mayhas always been a special day when we cut cakes and have fun. Also, what belongs to me is all hers, so I am no one to gift her anything. She taught me to speak the truth and until our work is not done, not to share it with anyone. It's like, when the sun rises, your work will be seen, so let it be seen and don't talk about it before. I don't have a message for my mother, but a request - stay with us always and keep showering your blessings on us.

We wish all the lovelies out there, a very happy Mother's Day!
