#HappyDussehra: TV Celebs tell whether they actually believe that GOOD wins over EVIL..!

The festival and day of Dussehra in extremely underrated and misinterpreted. Apart from just being fantasised about the Ramayana and feeling good that Ravan was killed by Lord Ram at the climax, there is a lot of meaning to the occasion.




First of all wishing Happy Dussehra to India Forums and all my well-wishers. Talking about the belief of good winning over evil, yes I do believe in it. It might take time but in the end, it's always the good that wins over anything. And Ravana was the perfect example of that. Sometimes we might get disheartened to see things not turning our way when we are right, but we must always remember, it might take time but if you're good, nothing can go wrong for you. This is something I have observed over years as most of the unpleasant situations happening in my life start to fall in place post dussehra. Good and Bad are completely subjective. What actually exists is only power and those who try to seek it or try to keep it. Now this process is going to be good to some people and bad for some. There is actually no ethical fight as depicted in mythology or scriptures, according to me.

Yes, I absolutely believe that good always wins over evil. As a kid, I never knew the meaning of 'be positive and don't let negativity affect you.' But, after growing up, I realised that there is a lot of negativity or evil around the world. But it is what we choose to look at and absorb will affect in our demeanor. If people are trying to pull you down, they can only do that till the time you let them. What's destined for you will happen no matter what and exactly like the dussehra law says, 'Good always wins over Evil.'
