Fans and well-wishers gather today to celebrate the birthday of a versatile actor who recently made his debut on the silver screen, Gurmeet Choudhary.

Born into a military family on the 22^nd February, 1984, Choudhary started his acting career with the mythological show, Ramayan and later went on to play pivotal roles in other television shows including Geet Hui Sabse Parayi and Punar Vivah. The characters portrayed by this talented actor rose him to fame and won him many television awards and accolades.

Taking his career to another level, Choudhary signed a three-film deal with renowned director Mahesh Bhatt, effectively kick-starting his Bollywood career and ultimately, his lifelong dream. Post the release of Khamoshiyan (2015) Choudhary was recognised for his work in a negative role, for the first time.

He has now commenced shooting for his next (untitled) film which is also under the Vishesh Films' Production banner.
