The same report cites a source close to the couple who explained the shift in their living situation. According to the source, Hansika and Sohael initially moved in with his family after their December 2022 wedding. However, differences reportedly emerged around adjusting to the larger household. The couple then decided to move into a condominium located in the same building as his family’s residence. But, according to the source, the tensions between them did not ease even after this shift.

The couple was last publicly seen together on social media in 2023. Though Hansika is active on platforms like Instagram, where she regularly posts content related to her work and lifestyle, posts featuring Sohael have noticeably been absent. Her final post with him came in December last year, marking their first wedding anniversary. She shared a video montage of moments from their wedding, writing: Happy 1st anniversary babe. Hansika and Sohael were married on December 4, 2022, at Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur. Their wedding was widely covered by media and fans alike.
