A shocking incident occurred on Monday outside the residence of popular Punjabi singer AP Dhillon in Vancouver, Canada. Reports suggest that gunshots were heard in the vicinity of Dhillon's home located in the Victoria Island area of the city. According to a report by India Today, the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi and gangster Rohit Godara have taken responsibility for this alarming event.
The gangsters reportedly claimed, through messages circulating on social media, that their group was behind the shootings in both Victoria Island and Toronto's Woodbridge. While these claims have not been independently verified, they have nonetheless sent shockwaves through the community. The report further highlighted a disturbing threat made by the gangsters, cautioning Dhillon to "stay in his limits or he would meet a dog's death."
Recently, AP Dhillon collaborated with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and actor Sanjay Dutt in his latest track, ‘Old Money.’ The music video, which resembles an action-packed film, features the singer and his friends on a daring mission. Salman Khan's character, Bhai, warns them not to rely on him for rescue, yet he ultimately steps in to save the day. In a key scene, Sanjay Dutt's character initially threatens Dhillon but backs off upon learning of his association with Salman Khan.
This isn't the first time gangsters have made such threats. On April 14 this year, a similar incident took place outside Salman Khan's residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Mumbai's Bandra. Two bike-borne assailants fired five rounds at the location. The Mumbai Police later named Lawrence Bishnoi among the nine individuals charged for the attack.
In a related development, on August 13, the Mumbai Police opposed the bail plea of Vicky Gupta, one of the alleged shooters involved in the April incident. The police claimed that Gupta, along with his accomplice Sagar Pal, had specifically targeted Salman Khan with the intent to kill him. The case has added another layer of tension to the ongoing threats against celebrities linked to the Bishnoi-Godara gang.
