Gulki Joshi opens up about finding love during her break from Maddam Sir

Gulki Joshi, renowned for her stellar performance as Haseena Malik in the first season of Maddam Sir, is currently making the most of her break following the show's conclusion after a successful three-year run. This downtime allowed her not only to travel but also to discover a new romantic relationship. 

In a chat with ETimes TV, Gulki shared, "During this break, I had plenty of time to meet people and even found love (smiles)."

Gulki revealed that her current relationship is with someone outside the entertainment industry, which she believes contributed to their connection. She explained, "I am dating someone who is not from the industry, and I think that's one of the reasons why we clicked. I am not ready to go public about it yet because it's still new, aur nazar lag jaati hai."

Gulki Joshi opens up about nine-month relationship:

The actress met her partner through a dating app despite some doubts from friends. Gulki explained that she decided to join a dating app even though some advised against it, thinking that if things didn't work out, she could always claim it was a fake profile. She felt there was no harm in trying, given that life is long. 

The person she connected with wasn't familiar with her television career and didn't know much about her professional life. Initially, he doubted her until she showed him some of her episodes. Gulki found this aspect particularly appealing, as he appreciated her as a person rather than just as an actress. They have been together for about nine months. What started as an exciting new experience has evolved into a deep emotional security, which Gulki finds crucial for women.

For those who aren't familiar, after the successful three-year run of Maddam Sir, Gulki Joshi took a break from work. Reflecting on her break after Maddam Sir, Gulki previously shared that she took a five-month hiatus to travel and reconnect with her social and personal life. Working continuously in Naigaon for three years made it easy to lose track of time, and she needed as much time to detach from her role as Haseena Malik as she did to immerse herself in it. This prompted her to take a deliberate break from television. Now, she is back in the industry and in discussions for a couple of new projects.
