Gulaal battles between life and death..

In a split second, Dushyant decides to kill his already wounded brother so that he could proclaim Gulaal's (Mansi Parekh) love.

Tonight's episode will focus on the hospital sequence where all the three, Gulaal, Motaba (Manoj Joshi) and Paanba are admitted.

Our source states, "Dushyant's obsessive nature has turned him dark, and soon after throwing his brother into water he calls for an ambulance to take Gulaal and the rest of the family to the hospital. Dushyant will hide this secret within himself, and will tell Gulaal's parents that Vasant has gone missing after the accident and he could not find him at the accident spot. He tells them that when he landed at the place, he could see only Motaba, Paanba and Gulaal and saved them".

There will be few tension-filled moments in the hospital as the doctors say that Gulaal has suffered a major head injury. Even Motaba and Paanba have not got back to their conscious state.

When contacted, Mansi Parekh aka Gulaal tells us, "Yes, Gulaal is admitted in hospital and is critical. The whole village is praying for her recovery and the mood is quite tense right now. Gulaal's parents have decided not to tell Gulaal about Vasant going missing after the accident".

Sushant Singh feels good with a different layer of Dushyant's character coming to the fore. "Dushyant's obsession for Gulaal has turned wild and he killed his brother without a second thought. However, he will have this guilt in his heart forever. As an actor, it feels nice to be portraying a character with lot many layers in it; Dushyant is not the typical two dimensional guy who is shown to be good in the beginning and later turns out to be very bad. Here, we see the growth in his character from a simple guy to a lover turning obsessive, and now he has completely lost his mind and has become a murderer".

The presumed death of Vasant brings the track of 'Diyar Vatu' to the fore. The ratings of Gulaal has been mediocre from the start, and the channel and production house expect the ratings to rise high once Gulaal is forced with the option of marrying her husband's brother..

Does this mean that Dushyant stands a chance to wed Gulaal thro' Diyar Vatu?
