The upcoming season of '24' has been in the news for a long time, as it not only marks Anil Kapoor's comeback as Jai Singh Rathore but has roped in an array of stalwart actors to play pivotal roles.

However, amidst an ensemble of actors who have done films and television simultaneously, an actress is all set to make her comeback to fiction space after a gap of 10 years.

It is none other than, Amruta Khanvikar. Although she has been in the industry for a long time, her last role was in the show, 'Time Bomb 9/11' co-starring Vivan Bhatena.

Amruta, along with her husband Himanshoo Malhotra became a household name in the recent season of 'Nach Baliye 7', where they went on to win the show together.

Amruta is now all set to play a pivotal role in '24'. The actress will be playing a Maharashtrian wife to the character of a politician, Sharad Ponkse.

This should be natural to her as the actress in her real life too is a Maharashtrian.
