Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Chinmay wants a divorce from Shikha

In tonight's Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin episode, Surekha urges Yashwant to call Chinmay once more, and Yashwant complies. Chinmay answers the call, and Surekha takes over the conversation, pleading with Chinmay to come back home. Chinmay, however, proposes a condition: he'll return home only if Surekha allows him to sell the land under his name. Yashwant interjects, claiming ownership of the land and refusing Chinmay's request. Chinmay reminds Yashwant that the land was bequeathed to him by Dadu and asserts his intention to fight for his rights while staying in the city. He acknowledges the potential for humiliation but remains resolute.

Yashwant accuses Chinmay of blackmailing him and abruptly ends the call. He instructs Surekha to keep Chinmay's condition a secret, fearing that Ishaan (Shakti Arora) might grant Chinmay the land if he learns of the situation. Surekha reminds Yashwant of their familial bond with Chinmay, but Yashwant dismisses Chinmay as a lifelong burden and stain on their lives.

Savi proposes a plan to bring Chinmay back:

Later at night, Savi (Bhavika Sharma), noticing someone entering the house, confronts the intruder, who turns out to be Shikha. Shikha confides in Savi about Chinmay's request for a divorce and her desperation to salvage their marriage. She expresses the depth of her love for Chinmay and the significance of their union to her sense of self, fearing that its dissolution would leave her shattered.

Ishaan discusses Chinmay with Reeva, and she suggests to Ishaan that accompanying Surekha on his visit to Chinmay could help persuade him to come back home. She believes this approach may lead to Chinmay reconsidering his decision and returning back. Ishaan agrees to the plan.

Savi inquires about Chinmay's motivations for seeking a divorce and his reluctance to return home. Shikha admits her lack of understanding, mentioning only the strained relationship between Chinmay and Yashwant since she became part of the household. Savi proposes a plan to bring Chinmay back into the family fold, believing it may prompt him to reconsider his stance on the marriage.
